Privacy Policy

This policy explains how MCDS handles information collected through this website and its intake forms. Clinical records maintained as part of ABA services are governed separately by federal and state healthcare privacy laws.

Information MCDS collects

MCDS collects the information families choose to provide through intake and contact forms on this website. That typically includes:

  • Caregiver name and preferred contact information (phone and/or email).
  • The child's first name and age.
  • The insurance plan family (when a family chooses to share it).
  • County or city and preferred service setting.
  • Anything else a family chooses to share in a free-text message.

MCDS may also collect standard technical information — such as browser type, device type, and general location — through routine web analytics to improve the site.

How MCDS uses information

Information submitted through this website is used to respond to inquiries, verify benefits, schedule follow-ups, and — when a family moves forward — coordinate potential care. MCDS does not sell information collected through this website. MCDS does not rent or share intake information with third parties for their marketing.

Clinical records are handled separately

Once a family begins care with MCDS, clinical records are maintained under federal and state healthcare privacy laws (including HIPAA where applicable). Those protections are described in intake documents provided at the start of services, separate from this website policy.

Security

MCDS uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information submitted through this website. No transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure — families should share sensitive information only when comfortable doing so.
