Mission
Multicultural Development Services is a private agency that was established with the goal of using evidence-based interventions to address the needs of children and youngsters who exhibit problem behaviors, social, adaptive or educational difficulties as well as those with mild to severe developmental delays or intellectual disabilities. We specialize in services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. We are committed to improving children’s behavioral, communication, cognitive and adaptive skills. Our interventions are based in applied behavior analysis (ABA).
Vision
To make ABA services available to any child in need of educational and/or behavioral support, regardless of their geographic location or economic conditions.

Values
-
We are sensitive to families cultural background and make all possible efforts to match each child with services providers that understand the families primary language and cultural heritage.
-
Children's development is our first priority.
-
All children are equally important to us regardless of creed, race, socio-economic status or intellectual abilities.
-
Parents and family members are extremely valuable in a child's life. We respect and appreciate parent's wishes and desires.
Our team includes: Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts, Licensed Mental Health Clinicians, Registered Behavior Technicians, Special Education Teachers, Early Childhood Teachers and Speech Therapists . All ABA interventions are supervised by BCBAs.
What is “Applied Behavior Analysis”?
Applied Behavior Analysis is the process of systematically applying interventions based on the principles of learning theory to improve socially significant behaviors to a meaningful degree and to demonstrate that the interventions employed are responsible for the improvement in behavior (Baer , Wolf & Risley, 1968).
