Originally conceived as a retirement destination in the 1960s, Poinciana has experienced remarkable growth, expanding from just 8,000 residents in the mid-1990s to a diverse population of over 69,000 by 2020.

As a large Planned Unit Development (PUD), Poinciana is organized into distinct villages, such as Village 3, Village 4, and Solivita on the Polk County side. We understand that this structure means families live across a wide, 47,000-acre area.
